Geography Through Literature, History, Natural Science and Art
LIVE Course for Children Ages 6-12
This course is a beautiful Inspired Education approach to integrated subject learning. We will start our journey in geography with the Beautiful Feet Geography Through Literature using the Holling C. Holling classics. As we read the stories we will also be incorporating mapping, narration, copywork, art, discussing, natural sciences related to stories and regions, as well as embroidery of a design for each of the Holling classics.
Since this is a six year range of ages, children will be inspired to work alongside each other and guided from their current learning stage. They may be inspired to carry on some tasks away from class such as art, coloring maps, embroidery, or copywork but this is not a homework intense or homework required class. It’s all about the love of learning and seeing how everything relates and is tied together. Our focus will be on quality and love of learning.
You can drop your child for this class however parents will need to sign up on a rotation to alternate as assistant to Donna during class. No experience required, just enjoy the class with us and be extra hands and help.
